This page is for those Row Houses and Eating Clubs who are interested in participating in SPOON. Because most Row Houses and Eating Clubs inevitably have food waste, they can salvage the food instead of throwing it away.

Instead of throwing away your untouched, unused leftovers, you can donate it to SPOON. SPOON will get this food to the Opportunity Center in Palo Alto, which is a local food pantry for the local homeless and hungry population. In addition, you can educate the row house staff members about this program so they will not throw away the food and instead be expecting SPOON volunteers. There is information below with specific instructions on how to participate in SPOON.

For more information and to negotiate specific times for SPOON volunteers to pick up the food once a week, please email the Co-Directors Elena Estrada (elenae2@stanford.edu), Dawn Kwan (dawnk@stanford.edu) and Tommy Tobin (ttobin@stanford.edu).
